Before Water Gate Ministries: Open, understand
Our vision came from reading Nehemiah 8:1-8. "And all the people gathered as one man into the square before the Water Gate......and Ezra opened the book in the sight of all the people......They read from the book, from the Law of God, clearly, and they gave the sense, so that the people understood the reading."
What a beautiful scene it is when God's people "gather as one man," open the Bible and understand it "clearly." This is exactly what all God's children have been longing for. However, our reading and understanding of the Scripture is easily hindered by different factors. Before Water Gate Ministries stand for all who are eager to know more about the Word of God and we strive to expound God's Word exegetically and practically. Our goal is to record expository Bible study of the whole Scripture in twelve years.
